Rio Teppan - Okonomi

🇯🇵 Japanese

One of those sunny April afternoons when you are wandering aimlessly; perhaps you find yourself hidden in a small street in the Gràcia gardens with Rio Teppan. Do not expect to find the typical Japanese restaurant, since from the outside it does not attract attention. A small place, with few tables and a completely uncovered kitchen. All this dancing in complete harmony in a space that does not exceed 30 m2. What shines the most of Rio Teppan is its humility for not wanting to appear what it is not. Inside you can breathe austerity and simplicity, as well as authenticity. The restaurant is run by a Spaniard who had to go to Japan to make a living, where he learned some traditional Japanese dishes. The menu is not very extensive, not to say scarce. And when it fills up, take it easy, so it is best to book early. NOTE: The yakisoba are incredible. And all this to the rhythm of rocksteady in the background. Carles Armengol Rio Teppan C.
